Dune is amazing, but i'd recommend the books over the movies (even though i thought Villeneuve's films were fantastic as well and did a very good job with the material in general) but no movie or serier really can capture the true essens of the books i don't think. There's so much going on in the books that doesn't translate well to film. Some of the best sci-fi ever.
